DWIKI DHARMAWAN WORLD PEACE ORCHESTRA at JAVAJAZZ FESTIVAL 2008



Jakarta is home to a jazz scene in Asia, for the past 4 years the city has presented the Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival offering a cross-section of Indonesia’s talents with name artists brought in from Europe, the U.S. and around the world. The Festival presented more than 1200 musicians and hundred of shows over 3 days on the 19 festival stages held at Jakarta Convention Center from 7th to 9th March 2008.

The second day began with a concert by the World Peace Orchestra (WPO), led by Indonesian musician Dwiki Dharmawan at Exhibition Hall Stage B . The Audience were very impressed by the superb musicianship, diversity, skill, and creative artistry of the group, both as individual performers and as an ensemble.
