Dalam rangka ulang tahunnya yang ke 60, Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM) akan menyelenggarakan konser yang akan menampilkan World Peace Orchestra (WPO) yang dipimpin Dwiki Dharmawan hari Sabtu tanggal 17 oktober jam 19:30 bertempat di Graha Sabha UGM Jogyakarta. WPO akan diperkuat beberapa musisi internasional seperti percussionist Steve Thornton, saxophonist Joe Rosenberg dengan bintang tamu Diva Krisdayanti, gitaris Dewa Bujana, vokalis spektakuler Rafly dari Aceh, pesinden Peni Candrarini dan vokalis berbakat Dira Sugandi. Konduktor Singgih Sanjaya, Paduan Suara dan Unit Kesenian Tari Mahasiswa UGM, musisi orkestra dari ISI Jogya ikut pula meramaikan sebagai bentuk kolaborasi musisi profesional dan mahasiswa, tak ketinggalan monolog Butet Kartaradjasa.

Berangkat dari kepedulian para insan Jazz Indonesia, akan digelar konser Jazz for West Java Minggu, 13 September 2009 pukul 19.00 wib. Hadir Dwiki Dharmawan, Benny Likumahuwa, Krakatau, Syaharani, Donny Suhendra, B3, Tere, Rio Febrian dll.
